Pretty much every cooking show makes me hungry. But this one in particular…
Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives isn’t only a cooking show. It’s a travelogue and a cooking show in one. The host, Guy Fieri, travels the country in his convertible, hitting up various local restaurants. As he goes to each one, they show him how they make one or two of their most popular dishes. Then he samples it and tells how awesome it is.
And they don’t just tackle fancy-schmancy stuff that you see on many cooking shows. They have lots of delicious comfort foods. Because those are always popular items! Mac & Cheese, bacon donuts, crab cakes, all sorts of deliciousness!
I’ve had the opportunity to go to one of the restaurants showcased on Triple D. I went to Moochie’s Meatballs and More in Salt Lake City. I really did have a tremendous meatball sub!
So, thank you Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives for the inspiration! And for coming on Netflix for my viewing pleasure!
