Since you are a youth pastor, how about some thoughts on The Matrix from a Christian perspective.

Not a bad idea. I’ve read about many parallels between Neo and Jesus.

You know, you are right there. I was thinking about how The Matrix reminds me of how we are born prisoners into a world of sin, blind to it’s control, but blind nontheless and that we must be re-born in order to be freed from it.

Seymour… Wow I thought no one knew of this precious gem. I want to hear more about your views on Little Shop of Horrors! I am an Alan Menken fan because of Disney, and I love the songs in the musical. In fact, I have reviewed the 2003 Revival Cast recording for Little Shop on my blog. Eager to read about your thoughts of the stage show/film (depending on which one you saw).

I have never seen the stage show. 😦 But the movie is a lot of fun. Sadly, it’s been many years since I’ve seen it. I remember being a little freaked out by Audrey 2 when I saw it as a kid! But now, I can appreciate it for what it is. A really fun musical, with loads of 80s comedy stars!
